Flora Taverna is a full service restaurant at Universal Orlando’s Helios Grand Hotel. 

Flora Taverna is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast presents a full buffet along with a la carte dishes, while the lunch and dinner a la carte menus serve “Mediterranean comfort foods.”

Flora Taverna also hosts a bar area that serves lighter food and drinks.

Special features include an open kitchen and grills with live cooking, a pizza oven, and even a gyros station. No matter whether you’re dining indoors or out, you can enjoy views of Celestial Park!

Breakfast

• Baklava French Toast made with Crushed Pistachio and Dried Roses

• Shawarma Spiced Beef Hash — with a poached cage-free egg, locally grown tomato, charred onion, roasted potatoes, and zhug

• Helios Grand Breakfast —  two cage-free eggs prepared to your liking, artisanal toast, your choice of applewood smoked bacon, country pork sausage or apple chicken sausage, and your choice of breakfast potatoes or seasonal fruit

• For breakfast, you will also find a buffet option available for $36. The Sunrise Buffet includes artisanal pastries, made-to-order omelets, pancakes, fruit salads, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted vegetables, and the buffet also includes your drink — coffee, tea, and juice.

• Athens Sour — Angel’s Envy Helios Barrel Selection, lemon juice, grapefruit, and pinot noir cordial, egg white, and orange bitters

• Basil Bees Knees — Hendrick’s Gin, lemon juice, honey syrup, basil, and orange bitters

• Spicy Melone — Patron Reposado, cantaloupe, hot honey syrup, lemon juice, and Grand Marnier

• Flora Southside — Ketel One, Tanqueray, strawberries, mint, strawberry and rose syrup, and lemon juice

• Mykonos Spritz — Campari, The Botanist Gin, lemon juice, cane syrup, and Lunetta Prosecco

• Uvo Anana — Grey Goose Vodka, Cointreau, lemon and pineapple cordial, and white grape juice

• Crispy Pita Salad with crispy pita chips, chilled baby gem lettuce, shaved onion, avocado, tomato, radish, sumac, and vinaigrette

• Fritto Misto — Calamari, local Florida shrimp, local water fish, lemon, Calabrian chili, and gremolata aioli

• Saganaki — Halloumi cheese, honey, lemon peel, and toasted sesame

• Colorado Lamb Burger (Lunch Only) — with a mint yogurt sauce, organic Feta cheese, and wilted spinach, sandwiched together on artisanal brioche

• Chicken Gyro (Lunch Only) — served on fresh pita with cucumber, tomato, shaved red onion, and tzatziki

• Hummus Bowl (Lunch Only) — with fresh pita, charred cauliflower, onions, jubilee tomato, Greek olive, Persian cucumber, and lemon oregano vinaigrette

• Margherita Pizza — Flor di Latte Mozzarella, San Marzano tomato, and crushed basil

• Rigatoni (Dinner Only) made with cream of prosecco, pesto, spinach, and shaved reggiano

• Reservations for Flora Taverna are now available online through Resy.
• Please be aware that parking as a day visitor for Helios Grand Hotel is currently set at $125 plus tax, per vehicle, per day for self-parking, and $128 plus tax, per vehicle, per day for daily valet. Universal shares that: “Non-registered Guests who dine at Universal Helios Grand Hotel and spend a minimum amount at select venues can have their parking validated. To do this, a minimum of $50 must be spent at Bar Helios and $75 must be spent at Flora Taverna.” Parking for dining experiences is limited to 4 hours, and if your parking time exceeds that, the normal daily self-parking rate will apply (pricing subject to change).

Nosh or Not?

Head to Flora Taverna if…

• You want to enjoy a relaxed meal. The vibes were great, and we felt like we could sit back and take everything in.
• You are looking to enjoy a meal with a view. Sitting outside was a highlight, and we loved that we could see Epic Universe from a whole new perspective.
• Breakfast: You want a menu on which everyone can find something they like. This menu should have options for both picky and adventurous eaters.
• Dinner: You enjoy Mediterranean flavors or are interested in branching out.
• Dinner: You’re a seafood fan or just a fan of really excellent dishes.

Maybe pick another restaurant if…

• You want to be where the action is. While Flora Tavern overlooks Epic Universe, if you don’t want to waste park time, we suggest staying in Epic Universe to eat.
• Dinner: You have picky eaters in your group.
• You don’t want to spend a lot of money.
