Just outside the entrance to Animal Kingdom’s famed Kilimanjaro Safaris sits a window service counter that offers up treats and a place to hang your safari hat for a refreshing break.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
Kusafiri serves some quick bites for breakfast with a selection of pastries and a more substantial breakfast sandwich. The highlight of the menu — in our opinion — is the Breakfast Totchos! True, Totchos (“Nachos” made with tater tots instead of chips), aren’t exactly known as a “grab-and-go” dish when you’re planning to head directly into the line for Kilimanjaro Safaris. But this dish is worth the time splurge that it takes to eat it.
For the rest of the day, while guests can still find select pastries and coffee available, heartier offerings that you won’t find elsewhere in the park include a Chicken & Rice Bowl and a Harissa Chicken Wrap.
