Explore the world of tequila at the La Cava Experience in Disney World’s EPCOT!
La Cava Experience at La Hacienda de San Angel
This truly unique experience gives guests the opportunity to learn the history of tequila from a certified Tequila Ambassador as you sip on rare and unique agave spirits, including some that are exclusive to the experience and can’t be enjoyed anywhere else in the world!
Your Ambassador will teach you all you need to know about the families of tequila and you’ll walk away with some new expertise on the subject. As you sip, the Tequila Ambassador will lead you through each liquor and pair it with an item that is meant to enhance the natural flavors. Chips and guacamole are provided as well.
Guests receive an Agave Club pin, as well. (P.S. If you take that pin to Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs, you can request an EXLUSIVE margarita!)
Please note that this event is hosted inside La Hacienda de San Angel (as opposed to La Cava del Tequila).

Time
Though times may vary, the La Cava Experience is typically offered several times throughout the week (sometimes twice) starting at 10:45AM and/or 12:45PM. Guests can find the specific starting time for each date 60 days out on the Disney World website.

$180.00 per guest plus tax (Price includes gratuity)
How to Book
Advance Reservations for this experience are available for dates 60 days out via the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app. Please be aware that same-day reservations are not available online; however, interested guests may check for same-day availability at La Cava del Tequila’s host stand, located inside the Mexico Pavilion’s pyramid. (La Hacienda, where the event takes place, is located directly across from the pyramid.)
Additional Information
- Participants must be at least 21 years old. It is required that guests bring a valid form of government identification.
- The Disney World website states that “You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per-person cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel with sufficient notice or don’t show up for your reservation, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will automatically be charged $50 per person. Restaurants offering advance reservations do not allow modifications within 2 hours of the reservation time.”
