UPDATED November 10, 2025
Takumi-Tei brought fine signature dining to EPCOT’s Japan pavilion when it opened in 2019.
Takumi-Tei — which means “house of the artisan” — is inspired by Japan’s natural beauty. Guests are seated in one of five rooms inspired by a natural element: water, wood, earth, stone or washi paper. And the Disney website shares that “At Takumi-Tei, the beauty of Japan is also in its cuisine.”
Takumi-Tei currently features a prix-fixe menu which changes every three months along with the seasons in Japan. The meals consist of two omakase* multi-course meal options: an omnivorous “Kiku” meal for $250 per person (with plates that include items such as Sushimi, Soups, a Wagyu Beef Roll, a selection of desserts, and more), and a plant-based “Hasu” meal for $250 per person. Wine pairing is also an option with the omasake meals. (*Omasake dining is a style where you “leave it up to the chef” and let them curate your meal!) Additionally, for a limited time, guests can enjoy a $150 semi-course for both the Omnivorous Course and the Plant-based Course.
Guests can reserve the exclusive Water Room, offering Private Dining for a group of up to 8 guests. Interested guests may reserve the room for $100 per party by emailing [email protected] or by calling (407) 827-8504. The Water Room includes a dedicated server.
Please be aware that Takumi-Tei is currently closed on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The exceptions will be Tuesday and Wednesday December 23rd & 24th, and Tuesday and Wednesday December 30th & 31st, when Takumi-Tei will be open for the Holidays.
