Universal Stella Nova Resort, which we are exploring on this page, opened on January 21st, 2025. (Terra Luna Resort, Stella Nova’s sister property, opened on March 25th, 2025.) The hotels “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

Specifically, Stella Nova is cosmic in theme, “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” (Fun Fact: The space images in the lobby are all actual images from NASA, recreated for Universal’s lobby!)

Together, both hotels offer 1,500 “ultramodern” rooms. Stella Nova Resort is one of Universal Orlando’s Prime Value Resort Hotels which is the lowest-priced category offering only standard guest rooms (as opposed to Suites).
