The highly-anticipated Epic Universe theme park is NOW OPEN at Universal Orlando Resort as of May 22, 2025. And three brand new hotels have been added to the Resort to accommodate more guests, including two park-adjacent sister hotels: Universal Terra Luna Resort and Universal Stella Nova Resort by Loews Hotels.

Universal Terra Luna Resort, which we are exploring on this page, opened on March 25th, 2025! (Stella Nova Resort, Terra Luna’s sister property, opened first, on January 21st, 2025.) The hotels, according to Universal, “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

Specifically, Terra Luna draws its inspiration “from the planets and terrain around our solar system.”

Together, both hotels offer 1,500 “ultramodern” rooms. Terra Luna Resort is one of Universal Orlando’s Prime Value Resort Hotels which is the lowest-priced category offering only standard guest rooms (as opposed to Suites).
